Icelandair, the national flag carrier of Iceland, headquartered in Reykjavík, has announced its decision to implement Jeppesen’s comprehensive suite of crew management solutions. The airline will adopt Jeppesen Crew Pairing, Rostering, Tracking, Crewbid, and the Boeing Alertness Model to enhance its operational efficiency.
"We anticipate that Jeppesen’s integrated solutions will greatly enhance our planning capabilities, allowing for smoother operations and increased resilience in the face of disruptions close to the day of operation," said Haukur Reynisson, VP Flight Operations at Icelandair. "Furthermore, we expect the new system to streamline our planning process and provide the ability to quickly assess and evaluate various 'what-if' scenarios."
Silvia Liebrecht, Sales Director at Boeing Global Services, expressed excitement about the partnership: "We are thrilled and honored to have been selected by Icelandair for their crew management needs.
