The prominent Italian operator Neos, flying both B787 and B737 and with their main hub at the Milan Malpensa airport, has aquired BAM for integration into their in-house built crew management solution.
"We have been using BAM for a long time for offline analysis of our crew management process inside Jeppesen Concert", says Andrea Scali, Safety Manager at Neos. "Integrating BAM also straight into our crew solution will enable us to more easily address risk proactively while building, maintaining and operationalising our rosters", he continues.
Tomas Klemets, Head of Scheduling Safety at Jeppesen adds, "BAM is provided as a library that can be linked in to any other solution, be that a solution for Linux, Windows or iOS. Doing so adds a validated representation of human physiology informing planning decisions that also meet the extreme performance requirements of many of these crew solutions".
BAM has been in production and influencing crew planning solutions to lower risk since 2011.
