Welcome Brussels Airlines!

Brussels Airlines, Belgium's national airline connecting the capital of Europe to 85 destinations, including 15 in Africa, has recently chosen Jeppesen Crew Pairing, Rostering and Fatigue Risk Management solutions.

"We have decided to 'level up' and take on a more ambitious approach for constructing rosters for our crew. With the introduction of Jeppesen Crew Rostering and BAM, we aim to streamline our planning process and improve our ability to distribute and control fatigue risk", says a spokesperson at Brussels Airlines. "We're aiming for a balanced approach where both roster robustness, crew quality-of-life aspects, as well as predicted fatigue levels will be considered simultaneously".

Arvid Müllern-Aspegren, Head of Scheduling Safety at Jeppesen, comments: "Using a BMM together with the crew planning optimizers, for guiding rosters to lower risk while they are being built, has quickly become the norm. We are delighted to now welcome Brussels Airlines as our customer and look forward to working together."

Brussels Airlines is one of the four Lufthansa Group network airlines (Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Lufthansa and Swiss) and member of Star Alliance. The company was founded in 2002 and is 100% owned by Deutsche Lufthansa AG.
